About the Group

We are a group of patients who are interested in working with the surgery to help improve the service you receive. We aim to build a strong relationship between you the patient, and the surgery, by considering your concerns and how they can be addressed to achieve this.

To do this we speak to patients as well as also sometimes carrying out surveys or asking patients to complete questionnaires. The information we collect is then used to help make decisions about how care is provided.

Anyone who is a patient at Lombard Medical Centre can join the group. We meet at the surgery on the third Thursday of the month at 1pm. If you would like to join please fill in the form which you can find here.

We would welcome new members

If you want to get in touch with us please do so via the details in the Contacts tab.

If you cannot come to the surgery for these meetings or prefer to correspond by email you can still join in and have your say by becoming a member of our email patient group. This is called the Virtual Patient Participation Group (VPPG). We will keep you in touch with what we are doing by emailing you copies of the Minutes of our monthly meetings and from time to time may ask you questions about the surgery and the service you have received. You are free to comment or offer feedback about these or any concerns you have. Note it is not a forum for complaints which should be directed to the Practice Director.

To join the email group please fill in a form which you can find here.
